AGRO-PERMA-LAB Foundation is a grassroots organisation, integrating political and popular education in Agroecology, Permaculture and Food Sovereignty. We develop inter-sectorial trainings for community leaders, activists and educators; develop community research tools and publish audio-visual materials. Our three main projects in 2021 are: Agro-Perma-Lab SEEDSPilot research of TAPE for FAO as well as the international arts & permaculture collaboration projects: The Supermarket Museum: Living Together within Limits and the International Forum of Permaculture Educators with Warsaw Biennale.

Mellomrommet Tokerudåsen Boligsameie

Mellomrommet Tokerudåsen Boligsameie

Located in what used to be an ignored area between suburban buildings in Stovner, a suburban area in Oslo listed as an area with the highest number of immigrants and lowest incomes in Olso, Mellomrommet has made a direct impact on the lives of people in the neighbourhood. People from the age of 3 – 88 have contributed on all levels. All tasks and planning is carried out by volunteers, and all the produce goes back to the community at no cost. Everyone can join in, at no charge, and there is no demand for work to get a part of the crop. This set up is to include EVERYONE, for example elderly, physically disabled or those with limited Norwegian skills.

We have a wall of herbs, a corn labyrinth, a herbal star, a tomato gallery, an orangery, a greenhouse for exotic fruit and vegetables, strawberry stairs, a salad bar, a heaven of beans, a stone wall with thyme, an orchard, a pride flower bed, self grown flowers at every entrance, all types of edible fruits and vegetables from kiwis and melons to kale and turnips, rain water tanks, insect hotels, bumble bee baths, potato towers, a bean teepee, meadows and a pumpkin portal: Everything designed and created by volunteer labour, and to a large extent by the use of recycled materials. Open to the public 24-7.

Lincolnshire Food Partnership

Lincolnshire Food Partnership

We are a partnership of organisations working together for greener, fairer and healthier food for all, through sustainable local action.

We’ve recently mapped community food growing opportunities and foodbanks across the county, undertaken research on foodhubs, and been instrumental in opening waste-food cafe and grocery.

Culture Incubator / Smart Idealisme

Culture Incubator / Smart Idealisme

Culture Incubator / Smart Idealisme develops projects on beekeeping, cultivation of herbs and edible flowers and urban agriculture in different places in Oslo. One of the most important goal is to include people in good activities, and offer them opportunities for inspiration, work and learning.

We are engaged with social development, local food production (honney, edible flowers and vegetables) and the contribution to knowledge in this arena in an interdisciplinary way.

Our core product is honey and its by-products, the edible flower and the growning of herbs and organic vegetables. We focus on creating a valuable local product and promoting a change of mindset through food/sustainable natural products.

Markblomst

Markblomst

MARKBLOMST is a small and sustainable flower workshop in Torshov with its own bouquet garden. We grow a hand-picked selection of cut flowers according to sustainable principles, but first and foremost we create short-distance flower experiences that take you a little closer to nature and the seasons. This is the magic of flowers, and we hope to share some of it with you.

Discover how wonderful seasonal flowers can be with a flower subscription, or why not pick a dewy handful of flowers yourself, right from the bouquet garden? In our courses, you can play with flowers and get soil under your nails.

We love creative assignments and are more than happy to help you with flowers for your wedding or event in Oslo and the surrounding area.
