Final Report for the Berlin-Paris Echange
2022
Paris and Berlin, two of the world’s most iconic cities, joined hands to launch an exchange program for gardening enthusiasts who are active in their respective communities. Graine de Jardins, an association dedicated to supporting community garden projects in the Paris region since 2001, and the French Center in Berlin, worked together to bring this dream to life.
With the support from German-French Fund and Edicitnet (Humboldt University Berlin), 21 gardening enthusiasts from 7 Berlin community gardens and 12 from 5 Parisian gardens came together to exchange their knowledge and experiences. This exchange marked the 35th anniversary of the friendship between Paris and Berlin, and it was a joyful celebration of gardening and community.
